Alumni Spotlight: Aimee Dalton

The question came from inside her own organization: What did you do to get these senior leaders communicating better?

Aimee Dalton had not announced anything. She had been through Severn Leadership Group, worked on active listening, and built a habit of introspection, of looking honestly at herself and pivoting when the situation called for it. The people around her did not see the program. They saw the difference and asked her to explain it.

That is a harder kind of proof than a testimonial. It is someone else noticing.

Along the way, she also got clear on her own why, which turned out to be simple: she loves watching other people succeed. Mentoring, training, seeing someone reach a goal they set for themselves. That plain truth changed how she spent her attention.

If you stopped describing your leadership and let people watch it instead, what would they notice?
